May 18, 2013 · I put the ATI Radeon HD 5770 Graphics Upgrade Kit for Mac Pro (Mid 2010) in my Early 2008 mac pro. it worked for 3 months then started causing kernel panics. there’s a reason Apple won’t certify it for anything beyond 2010 – sometimes it works and sometimes it won’t.
